1) Write a narrative that involves a mobile phone or a phone conversation. It can be a true story or fiction. The main character can be you or somebody else.
2) Divide your story into 4 paragraphs: a) set the scene, b) lead-up to the main event, c) the main event, d) the ending. Your paragraphs should be quite equal in length.
3) Use at least 2 comment adverbs (What are they? - WB p 91)
4) Use at least 4 different time expressions (What are they? - WB p 91)
5) Use both direct and reported speech. Don't forget to use quote marks!
6) Pay extra attention to the use of capital letters, apostrophes and punctuation.
